I'm not sure I'd say I've been through the ringer, I'm just very disengaged from work but have to force myself to be engaged which takes a lot of mental energy

That takes a lot of you, though. I'd call that a ringer, especially with the frustrations you've been voicing about stuff at work (but I realize that's my opinion as an outside, so might not feel the same on the inside).

Either way, you deserve an easy day to do lazy things.
