I just laugh whoever I see people mention it, because the Void is an actual creature in Valdis’ canon and it does do those things

Has it led to any misunderstandings yet? Valdis talking about the creature and others assuming generic void or vice versa?

He doesn't often display how much he understands himself on a regular day...or like the insight of his life...BUT...you know

Valdis does not really talk about the Void. Only Ylva and Crichton know about it by name. Nobunaga knows there’s something weird going on with her, but she hasn’t told him any specifics

Klaus just says "the void" and "the abyss" and just is a people...just stares blankly into the dark

Also Klaus had his Void...which is where he went when he died, so
