[Pokemon Violet Giorno Run] This team has gone through like 6 revamps and I've only gotten up to his third badge BUT it's finally stabilised. INTERESTING RESULTS.

Pikachu (Raichu after he EARNED that shit), Silicobra, Clodsire, Lokix, Naclstack, Dunsparce, Quaxwell.

The Dunsparce is notable for having a Rock tera type, so it has Rollout and Sandstorm. Raichu has Rain Dance, for Quaxwell boosting/Sandstorm removal, but also for Clodsire (with its Water Absorb.)

I WAS using Bellibolt and Toesdcool but they were increasingly redundant and I actually hate looking at Bellibolt's back... s-so.

Overall the team is pretty solidly, like. Bug/Rock/Electric, with a bonus Quaxwell.

OH I forgot to clarify, there's also a Bug tera type Grafaiai that I genuinely just sort of think of as Giorno's terrible shoulder pet. But Doodle is too on-brand NOT to have it as a possibility... just, the lack of double battles, so.

I am absolutely not bothering with any kind of coherent or ic naming scheme so some things are, like, vague references to canon, and then the Raichu is Ranran and the Naclstack is Min.

I pretty much ignored it my first playthrough but I wanted to use DIFFERENT mon this time... so I picked one up and hey holy shit Salt Cure?

GENUINELY considering setting one up for my actual Trick Room team in Scarlet.

It's also doing me a huge favour in this playthrough, since Smack Down puts things in hittin' range of Clodsire and Silicobra.

And I have a Mudsdale on my Trick Room team (anti Maushold device)... so that's Food For Thought

But yeah uh Salt Cure OBLITERATED that Mold Breaker Veluza that Kofu had (after it DESTROYED MY POOR CLODSIRE)

I didn't realise the Veluza would have Mold Breaker so I led with Clodsire... but I did get Yawn off, so I followed with Naclstack and Salt Cure and let the damage tick while Veluza slept, best decision of my life

Update: team is Lokix, Garganacl, Quaquavel, Toedscruel, Sandaconda, Orthworm, Raichu, Dudunsparce. Trying to rebalance some movesets... that Sandstorm coverage is SO nice for Garganacl and Rock Tera Dunsparce, and no one but Raichu or Lokix actually takes damage from it anyway. Raichu and Lokix are my sweepers, also. So.

Holy fuck though I LOVE Garganacl. Orthworm and Toedscruel are FUN partners for it, too, and their animations are very charming.

I wanted more Bugs for Giorno but I'm just not picking up the right ~vibes~ from any Bug types except Lokix. So weird snakes and worms it is!

That said,, I'll probably phase out Sandaconda just for redundancy issues...
