Sorry for the radio silence. I've been working my fingers to the bone trying to get some commissions out in time for Christmas!

I thought I was done, but my largest order just asked for 2 more pickles as cat toys. Thankfully, they work up quickly.

But! Behold the best thing I've ever created:

A couple of months ago, I was worried I wouldn't be able to stitch anymore because of my hands.

I love him

I was sticking to easier projects while I taught myself how to hold yarn a different way to try to push through.

I was honestly nervous to try new stuff or challenge myself too much.

Then a friend sent me the pickle pattern, and this, and asked if I could do it. I took the leap and said yes.

This thing is tiny. The yarn is thinner than anything I've used before, it's a different brand than I've ever used before, and it was a lot more complex to put together than anything I've ever made. I also completely freehanded the hat, since the pattern was just for cthulu but she wanted him in a Santa hat.

I pushed myself to the max for the past 3 days to get everything done. But I DID IT.

That is so impressive, Lore, seriously. The little cthulu looks darling and the fact that you went for it and were able to do the work is great

I am so proud of you, and they truly look amazing

I also didn't expect the hat to stay on without help, so that's a bonus.

I'm definitely going to make more of him to sell. I love him!

Once the holidays are done, I'm going to focus on finishing LONG overdue commissions and making more things to sell online and at craft fairs next year.

I also didn't tell my friend I was able to finish him in time to ship with her pickles, so she doesn't know he's coming.
