are rey and kylo still face characters at galaxy's edge or is it just mando and grogu now?

Disney's official policy, contrary to this "phasing out the sequel" nonsense people keep talking about is that Galaxy's Edge exists at all points during the Star Wars time period, so characters from any era can appear, they just don't interact with each other.

i was worried when they said they were gonna bring in others that it meant taking the sequel characters away but i'm glad this doesnt seem to be the case honestly

Yeah, see the kids and teens who have grown up on them LOVE the sequels, and love equals money for the mouse, so they gotta keep Rey and Kylo around. Disney loves to have its cake and eat it too so they try to appeal to all fans with the characters and merchandise they have there.
