He’s welcome to his opinion, just as I am welcome to think it’s wrong.

Euthanasia is in many countries. Some country like Iran, they call it execution.

I'm troubled that he sees this as a political issue.

Canadian euthanasian laws are horrible and dystopian. I usually vote for the Liberals because I always thought they were kinder and gentler. I would have expected them to accommodate disabled people, but they’re recommending euthanasia instead. I’m not sure the other parties would have done better, but we’re Canadian, dammit!

I’m afraid of going to the ER because they ask me to sign a DNR. My niece’s husband is asked to sign one every time he sees his specialist.

I know elderly people who were denied dialysis.

I’ve seen people get bullied into nursing homes. Most nursing homes are death traps. Do the math!

Canada wants to bring in half a million immigrants per year to offset our aging population, but many of those want to bring their sick and elderly. This is catastrophic!

I guess it’s sort of political. I thought the Liberals were better in some situations. I’m going to have to rethink things. Maybe it’s just government screwing up.

As a disabled person who has multiple painful or difficult conditions for decades, I can say it is possible to adapt. It would have been easier if the government would have been willing to give me basic accommodations.

I don't know about Ontario's law, but Québec has the palliative care. Some other countries too.
