Last night when I was in bed, I watched two different videos of dudes rendering beeswax from honeycomb.

One dude did it outside and the bees swarmed the bucket of water, wax, and leftover honey. He also said "use gloves" and proceeded to NOT use them. Then he used a SINGLE GLOVE.

He also said it's best to render the wax outside because it makes a mess.

The other dude did his rendering inside of his house and lol. He said "try to do it outside if possible" as he gets wax on his stove top.

Second dude showed how he used the wax to prep the frames since most commercially made hive frames use a plastic mesh and the bees hate it.

He rubbed the wax on them to make the bees more comfy.

He then showed what happens if you don't. The bees construct a comb that's raised off the plastic.
