it's a teeny tiny microsliver and I only know it's glass by the fact that it appears to be flat and makes a distinctive scraping noise against the tweezers

run a tub with the hottest water you can, soak foot in it for a minute plus

will cause wound to try n open up as much as it can, glass may just slide out on its own at that point

soaking will require me to locate a tub and commit to keeping still for a time, so it's further down on my list of things to try, but I will definitely do a hot epsom soak if this trick with the banana peel doesn't work

anyway my foot is very mad but putting pressure on it no longer hurts. I have applied antibiotic gel and a bandaid.
