Just got back from taking Bliss to the vet. Just a senior check-up. Vet says that her body condition is superb, with perfect weight, and looks incredibly good for a cat her age (14)

Took blood and other tests to check her various levels

however, they had to sedate her pretty heavily to finish all the tests. not a knock-out, but she came out of her carrier totally loopy and dripping with drool

she's still not quite back lol

but yeah, she's got some hella good genes, because we really just feed her pro plan and otherwise don't do any interventions

oh, we do sprinkle a bit of benefiber in her food, but that's it lol

she is just one of those old ladies that you think is sixty but actually is eighty

a true queen

she's still full of spirit! She runs around and plays like a kitten!

she can still jump from the floor to the top of her 5 foot cat tree in one bound
