I was going to clean the house today and then make cookie dough. I got everything I needed from the store yesterday, except I couldn't find a pie crust that wasn't made with lard...

I still have all day tomrrow and almost all day Sat to get stuff done... I'll do the baking tomorrow and prep for the stew and then finish cooking on Xmas Eve before going over to mom's

the cats have been extra naughty this season, I swear... usually they leave stuff alone for the most part... and when I put the tree up I leave it for a few days without any ornaments so if they want to investigate it they can do so without breaking anything, then they usually get tired of it

this year Moby and Hal have been horrible about knocking over decorations and trying to climb into the tree... Moby nearly tipped it over last night and it would've fallen on the floor if I hadn't caught it

I usually leave Xmas stuff up until New Year's, but if they keep trying to destroy things I might put it all away before then... they're driving me a little crazy and I'm afraid they'll break something

I spent xmas at my mom's house, since I didn't really feel up to going to my aunt and uncle's house plus it snowed and I didn't want to be out driving in it all evening

my skin, especially my face and neck, gets all dried out and blotchy and I always get acne... I don't know if it's from the crappy cold dry weather or stress or both
