Pretty sure this job's going to give me a permanent thousand yard stare

This season's batch of insurance seasonal hires is...something

It has been more than five hours

I've completed three follow up calls

which are nothing more than "hey, is there a prior authorization/non-formulary exception/appeal on file yet, and if there is what was the outcome?"

Almost six hours into the day and we're now up to four that have been completed.

For reference, these sorts of calls usually take less than ten minutes (not including hold times).

So there's been a slight change to that average call time B|
