why is there always a TimmyMac story

No, you definitely do NOT want to get two drinks in her and ask her about it. The mental damage it does to both her and the person hearing the tale is too great.

If she tells it twice in too short of a time you have to pull out the Call of Cthulhu rules and start making rolls

The short version (of a much longer story) is we all got on a phone conference call to make sure we got tickets on the same flight from JFK to Tokyo, and Tokyo to Osaka. Us Philly people were going to drive up to NY the day before, and crash with Tonberry King

TimmyMac booked a round-trip flight from Pittsburgh to NY, arriving in NY the day before, and leaving NY the same day we got back.

But it wasn't until he landed at LaGuardia and found out that instead of being 20 minutes from Matt's house, he was over an hour away, that he realized that for SOME REASON, the city of New York has MORE THAN ONE AIRPORT

And the best part was, for the return trip, he booked the flight from LaGuardia to Pittsburgh that left about 40 minutes after the flight from Tokyo landed. So even if he hadn't picked the wrong airport, there's no way he would have made that connection.

The real psychic damage comes from hearing how indignant Timmy Mac was that the world did not conform to his assumptions.
