Update: Still alive. Getting in a little breather before the holidays... sort of.

There's been a lot that's been going on but not really a lot that's been like... worth talking about while it's happening?

If you get some crusty old tags this past week or this coming week, I'm definitely trying to get some tagging momentum going again.

This whole year has just been bullshit and I'm tired, y'all.

I'm just. Tired.

I'm still like, having fun and doing stuff! I got to see Distant Worlds, finally, and I have been trying to see it since the VERY FIRST ONE and just never have been, so it was REALLY COOL to see the 15th anniversary tour.

I think there's a VERY good chance my raiding group is going to clear P8 between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I think we'd clear this week if we were raiding, but holidays are happening.

House stuff has settled down and I'm slowly getting holiday stuff bought and put up that's like... "this is my home, it actually belongs to me, and I can do what I want for decorations"

Also slowly still getting unpacked and going through things and settling into the new place. Which... feels like it shouldn't be taking 3-4 months, but getting into the house was SO TRAUMATIC that we were sort of already like... fully living here before I was even a 1/10th of the way done unpacking which has made getting the rest of it done weird

But yeah. Between my grandmother dying semi-unexpectedly and getting COVID and the ridiculous hives for like, eight months, and all of the house searching and finding and buying and MOVING and then the plumbing nightmare.

And then my step-grandfather recently passed away as well and we weren't super close but we cared for each other and so that's been sad and a whole process.

And there's been work shakeups and chronic health stuff throughout all of it. And it's just been A Year.

And I know calendars are made up and you can just decide things are new and a new start whenever you want, etc, but I would really just like to finish out these holidays without exploding and then put this one behind me in the books, thanks.

But yeah. I don't want to make it sound like everything has been horrible because it REALLY HASN'T, but everything has just been a lot and it's been a lot basically all of the time.

But I AM trying to get back to my like, two month old tags and I DO miss everyone and I'm hoping to get back to like, being able to be around more.
