this game is so much fucking fun

are the graphics having Problems? yes. do i have to stop every few hours because my switch sounds like it's going to explode? also yes. do i care? not even a little

anyway i'd like to personally thank whoever took the time to render Nemona's dimples. I'm. thank goodness for them

also i'm so mad i can't do the final legends step because im just. I WANT TO HELP THE DOG! I WANT TO HELP THE FUCKGINDFJGSDLN DOGGGGGG

but i tried going to the lake and got my ass beat, so

i'm not even that underlevelled for it but like!!! it makes a difference when you're at like. lv 48 and everything is at 52. it just fucking gets ya

what ive really noticed abt this game is that a gap of like two or three levels feels like a fucking CHASM

and when you find some way of surpassing it you feel like a strategic god

yeah I've actually struggled with a lot of fights, which is like, fun

moontouched IT'S WEIRD RIGHT the only easy battles are when i'm like accidentally 20 levels over, if i'm even 2-3 under I'm like. holy shit fam

you really can't just roll up to a gym with like one mon that has a type advantage and sweep it

pretty much my only gripes are:

- i want to be able to put down map markers that aren't destination markers. I keep finding cool shit I want to come back to later (or I want to remember where the STUPID GLOWING DOORS ARE) and i can't do that in the ui
- the fact they won't let you glide forever is homophobic
- there needs to be more fast travel points

Someone I know says that the reason that Pokémon just a few levels over are just BULLDOZING EVERYTHING may be, uhhh... because the STAB /damage calculator may be broken/buggy.... 🥲

Pokémon resistant to certain types, or neutral, are taking half their HP worth of damage sometimes

that doesn't necessarily mean anything if they have a low hp pool or poor defensive stats

triska : True!! It’s not a definite but it may be a possibility, since there are a lot of bugs and glitches in the game. I’m still having a blast regardless, but the difficulty curve feels like it wasn’t implied... because remember, there are small children playing this game who are gonna get curbstomped and probably be really upset it keeps happening.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was a glitch, tbh, but I don't know enough about those stats to truly say

... yeah that sounds like the damage/STAB calc may be broken then.
