SADLY... I will most likely be tagging out since Natsume has gotten a lot of his shit together at this point

He has already had a lot of his issues brutally thrown in his face and has seen the consequences of them, so he has gone through the mental breakdown point and... RECOVERED QUICK

so I'd imagine his shadow would manifest to open its mouth and Natsume goes "I KNOW", then it smiles and become a card

but yes I'm up for any silly or serious if you want him!

Got a shadow boss fight? No problem. He's built for the whole protag speech + fistfight dealo

On one hand, it's good to play a character who has their stuff mostly figured out but I also feel bad because it makes me feel boring

but I guess the tl;dr for his shadow is the fact that Natsume is a selflessly selfish person as in he wants to help his friends and give them happiness, but he's also driven by ego as he wants to be loved and remembered

and this is pointed out by the big bad who's like "YOU'RE NO DIFFERENT FROM ME, YOU'RE JUST NICE ABOUT IT" and he's like "YEAH SO WHAT I'M GONNA MAKE THEM HAPPY"

Cyllene's is just like "you're nice" and she's like "you're dead to me"

I can only imagine Natsume's shadow like... hurting other people so he can help them later while normal Natsume would literally stab himself if it's to teach someone human empathy (which is also messed up but IT WORKED)

boy this thread with Shadow Becca made me have the OH MY GOD revelation that what the shadows do is pretty much what the Mamiyas do to their victims throughout the story

It's such a big thing to realize... Natsume was absolutely a good choice for this game
