my rent is going up by 200 bucks a month. -headdesk- My apartment is awful. How can they justify this?

Oh my bad 230 bucks increase. What the heck. I have only once had an increase like that and they were deliberately pushing residents out so they could renovate. Guess that's prolly what this is too

I have two brand new candidates. Was hoping to not have to actually tour anything but eh. If one of them works out it will be worth it.

I just double checked and both of my last two renewals were 60 bucks a month increases. Guess they just don't want me there anymore. But dang I'm already WIPED from the work move that's in progress.

Anyway I calculated it since I moved here 4 years ago over the course of that entire time my rent increased 23% total, my rent increase from now to next renewal would be 26%

Update: new place picked, debating between two units. One of them would be less than this one per month. Much nicer apartments MUCH NICER area.

Well not less than it is now XD less than they want for it. The other would be more, but like 1st floor and Bucky is getting older so... strongly tempted anyway
