and after I just fed it an earwig on top of the 3-4 other meals i gave it

it should be fine, but it might stress the plant

I'll go ahead and put it outside to get started on its winter dormancy once I'm sure it's digested everything

dormancy can be skipped, apparently, but it's better to do it for the longevity of the plant
