[RP/Character stuff] So, it's very obvious I am still figuring Billy out... /flops on table/ Come on, man. Open up. You have no problem trolling people but I need more.

: (me too? To the point I feel kinda bad for Stu to an extent. I'm trying to still figure out if it was reciprocal too. Billy is missing a lot of parts as a person. Or he could be ace-leaning. I'm an ace person so I could see him being somewhere on that spectrum.)
Stu is deeply tactile and has a vibrant personality and now he can't be bc canonically, if people touch Dennis, he literally absorbs their trauma so hard and fast it sends him into conniptions, and because of his history with Billy it's one of the few times that he can touch someone.
I loved that part of the last tag! Like I never thought about it but it makes so much sense for him in this AU. I'm just sorry Billy is an absolute brat.
As a kid he played all my favorite characters because of that. It's fun. Also I can't blame him for being excited either. I'd probably be the same in his shoes.
I mean, it's work time now but for future me, I absolutely subscribe to the Billy/Stu ship... probably should start exploring what's there first and THEN go back. I do think he struggled with pressure too. (Not an excuse but I can see him going 0-80 FUCK IT pre canon.)
And I kind of want to make up a background thing based off of something in my own life but idk how that'd play out or work? But in my family we have a weird thing about all the mom's taking their kids to horror movies at like 12-13 years old? My grandma, did example, took my mom to see Alien in the theater.
My mom too me to, not tech a horror but it was Wes Craven, Red Eye when I was 13. I think my first horror horror with her was Scream 4. She picked me up from my undergrad and we went right to the theater with the car packed for Spring break. Lol
I did like the commentary about supernatural horror not necessarily being his thing because honestly sometimes you ascribe more to one type of horror than another. I personally like weird practical effects heavy body horror things, and slashers to an extent. Love horror in general but those are my prefs. Think the Saw franchise, that shit is my JAM.
I personally have been watching horror things for a lot longer than I probably should have been. Unfettered access to all kinds of questionable stuff yaaaaay.
I learned about that from movie club I was in back when in college! I went in a newbie and got told "if you don't know your jam now? You will by May." I was always a slasher person but I do like supernatural horror to an extent (esp when it terribly done). I can't really do SAW or stuff like that. Billy is definitely a slasher guy.
My parents were super controlling over what I watched but like when I hit my teens she got more permissive when it came to horror movies? Like she dumped VHS tapes of like every staple horror movie on my bed but man I had to argue for everything else.
She was super fine with me watching Thirteen Ghosts as a kid tho? Prob because it was wild and it wouldnt in theory scare me. And like OG NOTD type stuff. I'm from zombie town tho, she probably saw that as cultural education. Lol.
I always liked horror since my friends used to talk in detail at the lunch table about stuff they were too young to watch lol. It was like weird ghost story time.
Ship-wise, I like playing/letting stuff develop myself.
When I tell you the temptation to just let Billy touch those scars was so real... But Dennis-Stu wouldn't, he'd be wiggly about it at first! As he is about most things. He's a wiggly man.
Billy would try to touch tho. Partly because he's trying to absorb the the truth and the other part being that Billy is basically that Ron Swanson "I do want I want" meme.
Honestly - he's the only Ghostface that absolutely terrified me. Jill made me jump but Billy is the one that made me shudder. He's far from an idiot when he gets an idea going. He really only got stopped because his fatal flaw gave everyone their openings.
There we go, me flying by the seat of my pants because honestly, 13 Ghosts doesn't follow conventional shit except in the absolute loosest sense so I'm like. Dennis can totally make up a ritual on the fly for the sake of his boyfriend, it's fine.
I love when movies are like that. It makes it fun to write things around what they give and I'm personally someone who likes inventing theories. And well, if it's so surprising it makes me jump? All the better.
But he's so obsessed with the rules and trying to find and recall things that may or may not be applicable and if he wasn't who he was I might feel a bit bad he's this confused and conflicted.
He didn't ask to see ghosts or the future or peoples' thoughts, it just happened and he has to go with the flow and sometimes the flow takes you to where you started. It's a callback!
Absolutely here for them haunting shit together. Sometimes the past as a way of not letting go so of course you end up in your hometown again seeing a ghost or two.
This is absolutely a risky idea and I love they are both pondering how it is and coming up with very valid reasons that are incredibly different ones. (Gah is it time to go home yet.)
My sleep schedule has been garbo thanks to stress but I am here and when I've been caffeinated I will read through! when I opened my email in bed and saw So Many Words it went hmmmmm not now
If work is slow today I'm gonna write all my stuff I think I figured out down on paper. So ace-leaning, watches stuff but is a slasher guy/that's his area of expertise, is more adverse to touch but to an extent let's Stu touch him, uh... gotta go back through this after I get caffeine.
I'm from zombie town tho, she probably saw that as cultural education. Lol.
Ship-wise, I like playing/letting stuff develop myself.
Billy has become ungovernable as possible and he loves every second of it.
boyfriend, it's fine.
