Hair consultation went well! The colorist has hair loss issues herself so she was very sympathetic and gave me some good tips on protecting my hair. The stylist is super sassy and fun. I go in next week and was told to bring snacks!

Anyone who says “bring snacks” is automatically my favorite 😁

Heather/Sanura🦩 : I had my hair in one of those ouchless bands and she was like NOPE - scrunchies only if you want to put your hair up. Also, satin pillowcase. I've heard of the satin pillowcase thing in the past, but I honestly always thought that was more of a POC thing but she insisted all hair types benefit from it.

So, I ordered both today.

I use clips and scrunchies but not a silk pillowcase I wear a satin bonnet to sleep in.

I forgot to ask exactly how long, but from what I overheard of them working out the schedule of the stylist and colorist, I get handed over around 12 to the stylist and my appointment is for 9:30 so I'm guessing I'm in for a good 4+ hours.
