I sure do wish the men at work would stop going behind my back so I can do my damn job

seeing as I'm the one basically in charge of inventory, anything inventory-related should include me, NOT only my supervisors

and I have to say so many times "don't do the thing" and they do it anyway

I tried explaining a process yesterday and the way one guy was doing it was not the right way but he said to my face "well, I don't want to do it this way"

annnnd I have no one to bring this up to since HR does the same damn thing

being told "guide them" only goes far when I have to repeat it several times but I get told I have "poor retention" as I have to explain how the thing works over 10 times

i am one of four women in this warehouse

I try to be assertive and they push back

I try to explain something and I get push back

nobody listens to me

I can't do my job because everyone has to jump the gun and I'm trying to keep shit organized

then they wonder why I do it anyway

"it's not because you're a woman" but you don't do it to any of the men

ok only here for the pay and benefits at this point

I could give less than two shits about this company because it keeps sabotaging me

the men can insist and assure me because it's not related to my gender but it absolutely is
