to point out that if relatively well off people (ie despite being able to afford bills) were willing to save power then there would be less pressure/excuse for high prices, poor people would benefit too and there would be a lower risk of power cuts (due to govt removing gas storage facilities).

joined up thinking is important.
Problems:
* hospital bed-blockers
* no care home spaces
* not enough care staff
* Ukrainians needing homes
Solution:
Care homes give up one room to house a Ukrainian (or small family) as trainee care staff to enable the home to then fill remaining rooms from hospitals.
