[SILENT HILL] Man I gotta say. My feelings about the announcements are mixed at best but I really am loving the amount of general Silent Hill discussion happening on all fronts.

It's nice to see a little life breathed back into the fandom.

I have mixed feelings, but I'm enjoying seeing so much talk and discussion about SH in general

My perspective at this point is the Kicked Dog Position-- I would love to be proven wrong, I've just been burned too many times.

But I AM happy to see people engaged and interested, Silent Hill has been my special interest/hyperfixation (if those words apply to me lmao) for like over a decade now

BUT I tend to isolate myself out of self-consciousness when it comes to fandom stuff and when you combine that with the general stagnation, it was slim pickins for awhile there!

I was surprised by the sheer amount of them after all this time

Yeah I have the teeniest bits of hope but I am remaining realistic with my expectations because of being burned so much in the past.
