I feel like I'm 100% going to date myself with this first one...
1. Q*Bert on my Atari 2600 There was nothing better than finishing my homework and pulling out the Atari to play some games. I loved playing Q*bert or if dad was interested in playing with me, we had this one game that let us play a bunch of multiplayer games
2. Runescape Okay, now, this is not to be confused with the Runescape you find when you google the name now. This game was a single-person, floppy disk played game way before the internet. One that of course, I don't have anymore and also can never find information on since the current named game has taken over. It was a maze exploration game.
3. Frogger My very first game when we finally upgraded from Atari to Playstation. It was the first game we got with the system too because Dad and I could play it together, again after homework was done while we waited until it was time to cook dinner because mom would be home soon.
(Dad was a self-employed Videographer when I was growing up, so basically the stay at home dad to mom's working the 9-5 so we spent a lot of time together when I was growing up, at around 12, he moved into jewelry too but all his events were normally on weekends. So if Mom went with him I stayed with the grandparents)
4. Secret of Mana for Playstation One of my first real RPG games that I got to play and explore on my own that wasn't a two-player game that we stuck to because dad could play with me.
5. Disney Games on Sega Game Gear Specifically Lion King and Aladdin. I had a friend crush as a kid that whenever he came over would help me with whatever level I was currently stuck on in the game, and we spent a bit of time curled up - because how else will two people look at a small handheld screen! - so we could play it kind of together.
Also Fun Fact I still have my Sega Game Gear and my Atari 2600 with all the games I had for them both AND last I checked though it's been a few years for either of them they were both working.
