Remember that thing about the dude finding the masters to the Legend of Calamity Jane and saying they were gonna do up DVDs of it for folks to buy? The Kickstarter's up.

They want $15k for the entire series. There're stretch goals, of course, and they're... ambitious.

But I think the main interest would be the DVDs.

For those who don't know it, the Legend of Calamity Jane was an old 90s cartoon about a pretty heavily fictionalized Calamity Jane.

It was real good Old West Adventures.

(There's probably some outdated stuff about Native American relations in there somewhere, given it's a Western from the 90s, but I legitimately haven't seen the series since I was eight or nine years old, so I wouldn't know details.)

Honestly, I'm only after the main DVDs, the only way they'd make me bump up to the special edition is for the extra episode if they somehow hit that goal.

They're not gonna be able to make much of a game on the budget they've promised for those goals.

i'll put up with a lot just for the original series to finally be available to me in quality better than "grainy teletoon vhs rip"

the tiger console in question isn't much to write home about in terms of being able to make much of a game for it, honestly

still - the main draw here is definitely the series. it's a white whale for so many people, myself included, so i have no doubts it'll actually reach its funding goal, at least.

Especially with such a low goal.
