[Oddworld] anyway reality is stupid time to beat up some idiots

PS3 is officially dead - or at least unusable. Freezes after a few moments of play even after opening it up and cleaning it out

luckily they've ported this game to PS4

This was with a different studio though, and I know the PS3 version recast the Grubb leader so she had a distinct voice from the rest of the Grubbs - I don't know if the development studio Just Add Water owns those files or if Oddworld got to keep them and use them in ports... I guess I'll find out!

if it's the former then it's a shame I've lost access to a unique version of the game

pretty tutorial environment

thank you for letting me invert X-axis, for some reason my brain wasn't cooperating with left actually being left

don't remember if I had to do that my first time around too

default cam sensitivity is a little low for me, bumped it up a bit!

tutorial literally took more than half an hour to clear because I have to stop and listen to all the NPC banter

it's so good in this one

my favorite in the tutorial has to be the three Outlaws by the water where you're taught how to use Fuzzles

as you approach one is teasing another about being afraid of the water\

and the third points out that none of them can swim...

(which is really funny if you look at the Outlaw design - they look like they're amphibious, maybe - slimy-looking skin that doesn't look like they'd have a good time dried up, nostrils up at the top like they're meant to be submerged for a time and emerge as little as possible if they need air...

like...idk but from where I'm sitting it looks like you guys might have once known how to swim!

shame you have to leave fired Fuzzles behind even when you leave combat.
