Amber
remember in the late 90s when lots of American people were getting tattoos with Chinese characters?
Amber
this 90s memory brought to you by Amber's brain

I mean, if you were expecting anything else, that's all I got

or Celtic symbols, that was big too
OhCecilia
LOL, I do remember. I wanted a yin/yang as a sun/moon. How's that for cringey?
OhCecilia
My uncle that was a tattoo artist was going to give me one but my sister bullied me out of getting one, thank god. I don't think I'd be happy with that one
Amber
I really wanted a sunflower on my ankle
Amber
and this weird bird thing I drew I wanted behind my ear
OhCecilia
sunflowers are SO 90s, but I think they've aged well and are still cute

I wanted a yin/yang dolphins on my boob. I wound up getting a henna one when I was in Mexico. Honestly, I just liked the guy touching my boob. LOL
Amber
OhCecilia : sunflowers are back in trend now. but I have seen a lot of ankle tattoos that seem faded, from people my age, so I'm not sure if it is the placement?
Amber
Free Star🌟💫🔥 : I had a bunch of henna for our wedding, but not on the boobs ;-) I hope he was hot ;-)
Amber
I honestly still sort of like the yin yang symbol, but it does feel pretty peak 90s

Amber : honestly I can hardly remember. LOL
Did you have the traditional Indian henna on your hands and such? That must’ve been so cool! I saw a program once with an Indian wedding and it was beautiful.
Amber
Free Star🌟💫🔥 : yep, I had the traditional henna, it went nearly to my elbows
OhCecilia
Amber : It makes sense, probably gets hit by sun more than most body parts. Also wondering if it has to do with being close to the bone maybe too?
