doggo ate one grape and now I'm watching him to make sure he doesn't like vomit or have diarrhea

if either of these happen I'm taking him to the animal hospital but our usual vet was like "if it's just the one grape just put him under observation and give him liver supplements"

I think he was gnawing that one goddamn grape

I am a little bit calmer bc he is as excitable as ever and hasn't really done anything as of yet

How big is he?

Cause YEARS ago before it was common knowledge i fed my 60 something pound dog 7 of them and he was fine

he's a seven-month-old shih-tzu, but he's fairly big?? like. he's big enough that he can easily jump on kitchen chairs

so far as I can tell he's acting fine! he ate his food and ran at my mom and played around with her

now he's chilling and asleep

no vomiting happened and no pooping as of yet

we have a vet appointment on Saturday bc my parents are like "pls do not drive when you're new at driving" when I suggested I drive to get him some liver supplements so welp welp

they're off on Friday to do Stuff so
