[Pet dog] So sometimes when I have a people food and my dog is begging, I look it up to see if it's safe to give him some and I share if it is

I just looked up whether raspberries are safe for dogs, and apparently 16 cups are raspberries are the safe limit

Since I don't even have that many raspberries, I think I'm safe

(though it says it's not recommended to give more than a cup, but still safe on that)

Since I just wanted to give him a couple individual raspberries, not replace his food with it

Yeah, I thought that was funny, like...okay, I'm guessing since my dog can't even eat an entire cup of food in a sitting

I can just not worry about it because I think eating that many raspberries would make anyone sick

Yes, I did find that out! Macadamia nuts are also a no go. But cashews are fine.

I don't know because I adopted him as an adult, but he seems to enjoy being around cats so possibly

Like one of the strays in the area rubbed up on him the day I took him home and he was very happy and polite about it
