I've been working on a quilt pattern I reverse engineered without an official pattern and now that I look at it closer I realize that there is a much. Simpler. Way of doing it

Do I swap over?? Like I would have old squares plus triangles and new trapezoids and I'd worry about them not lining up perfectly

On the other hand It would be a lot. Less. Work

Oh No

Of course then I'd have to like make a cardboard trapezoid instead of mindlessly rotorarying
owl time
But also
owl time
So much less sewing
owl time
Then again it's a quilt it's supposed to have a stupid amount of sewing done on it

you could show it to people and say "in MY day we quilted uphill in the snow, both ways!"

You can do trapezoids with a rotary, it's just somewhat less mindless

You can do most things with a rotary and the right ruler. Quilters are frightening people who have already solved most problems

Show me what shape of trap when you have a moment, I'll get you sorted
