(Disney Dreamlight Valley) In-Game Avatar Creation Musings

So I have been thinking about my avatar creation for a while and since the character creation looks to be on par with Paralives in terms of customization, I did manage to pick out some ideas.

The name is a done deal: It will be the same as my online handle, just plain old Mari. My rl nickname, while equally nice, is going to confuse Italians everywhere for grandmothers.

But the looks, oh God, the looks. It is the most agonizing for me personally. I did have some contenders for the appearance, even though they’re NOT of the same ethnicity as me.

The ladies I am considering to base my avatar on.

They’re from the international pop group Now United which has Bailey May of PBB fame as a member. I can’t base her on Bailey or Krystian (the Chinese dude), so I have to settle for either Heyoon (Korea) or Hina (Japan).

I did even asked my Discord buddies on our private server if they can vote for who betwen Heyoon and Hina will be the main inspiration. I will report if there is any results.
