Eiffel, 1: he... kind of doesn't? not crushing at least, but he doesn't really know this about himself, lmao. lust and love have crossed wires so he might sometimes crush on people he wants to fuck but it's not like a proper one. that being said tho it can take a while for him to warm up enough to love people properly, but then he's hard-core ride or die

Eiffel, 5: Katie kind of ruined the notion of romantic love for himself, but he's got no real issue with it in other people (as long as they're not like, being smug dicks about it to him). he's usually totally fine to hear about other people's relationships, and in fact thought it was super cute when jedao told him he got drunk with and kissed gonou

just like his stories look he wants his friends to be happy! jedao looked so blushy and pleased when he said he got to kiss gonou! who wouldn't love that!!

is Eiffel a little jealous? absolutely! is he gonna let that interfere when he's got no stakes and made no moves himself? absolutely not!

Eiffel, 6: with Katie there were a lot of aggressive screaming matches and make-up sex, but he's aware that's a horrible method. we see in canon all the time that his go-to plan during a legitimate argument these days is de-escalation so they can talk things through calmly. and he only starts shouting back when he gets bulldozed hard enough

(eiffel could probably teach healthy argument technique to a good half the barge, tbh. deescalation, what's that?)

Tim, 2: independent, self-sufficient, intelligent, quick-witted. looks and gender are largely irrelevant as long as you can keep up verbally and are generous with letting him drape across you like a spoiled cat

Tim, 5 Tim, otoh, is absolutely something of a romantic, and he's fully aware it's not something you can force. which is why he's always so damn grateful that he has Maggie and Rawne, and how they've both formed in completely opposite ways but they're so important to him romantically.

Tim, 7: Tim requires This Much Intimacy in order to function, largely emotional but a certain degree of physical (sexual fully optional and i have Thoughts on this). he was getting by on the bare miminum in the Archives, admittedly bc he wouldn't let people get closer except Sasha, who got the whole deal out of him anyway

I really, really need to find excuses for tossing Yunlan at him way more often. I feel like they could be great friends.

but on the Barge he's got so many people to get his emotional fixes from so he's thriving! which is most of the reason why them getting separated has hit him this hard. he's lost nearly all of his touchstones for different kinds of intimacy, and that's really wrecking him
