I had good and correct reasons for picking a midseries canonpoint bc otherwise he would be a lot more miserable about being in snek and regressing due to the stress when he had reached a point of being a lot more happy and at peace with himself and his future

and I have also liked getting to play with the struggles that I wouldn't be getting the same mileage out of otherwise

but also I am sad I will probably never get to play Fully Unleashed Yuki

cuz I feel like that state is somewhat locked behind the 'beat the everloving fuck out of Kyo while screaming and crying on him' achievement,

just unlock it anyways

i guess you could canon update

like he can still potentially reach a pretty satisfying level of closure and self-assurance without Kyo, and that naturally comes with a scale up in outspokenness, but without Kyo I don't think he can scale all the way to unfettered unrepentant demon.

the other thought I had was Kakeru and Komaki's story content was shorter than I remembered and I think the anime actually should have cut even more of Ren's arc to make room for it,
