As for his techniques I know most of those aside from drawing really small (seems to be a variant of the draw in thumbnail tip) and his layer arrangement.
i really need to get used to drawing it tiny first. oooh~ so he's just using five layers in total. i guess it's understandable considering his style~ i used that technique with using the bucket to color in parts for a single work. it felt so weird to me i went to manually coloring it in again for the next one. xD
The 5 layer style is for convenience I think, easier to fix small mistakes that way. The bucket tool is real convenient but how well it fills depends entirely on the line art.
He's using CSP's lasso with auto-fill function. Since he's a pro he knows where to apply the shading. And wow, 15 minutes.. his coloring style is actually fairly simple.
yeah, with that format. it's easy to see where to look at when something needs correction. oooh! i see~ no wonder it gets colored so fast but yeah, 15 minutes is still pretty quick.XD i think it depends on what you're doing. sometimes the colors take way longer than the lineart because of all intricate stuff in coloring.
Yeah for coloring style that uses lots of soft shading/details it could take longer. But for simple anime coloring + know what you're doing it takes way less.
hiro mashima's techniques on drawing illustrations quicker~ :3

and yeah, his stream is so chill despite being so fast!
