I think it went alright. Didn't have that immediate sense of: I've made a huge mistake like I did with the first place

I'm actually doing accounting and ordering this time.

A little bit of phone work and while I wasn't there to get a good sense of how many it is mostly reception type calls of: hello, business name, who are you calling for?

Wasn't there* what I mean is in the main office space I'll be working in. Was training in the leads office most of the day

Bus route could be better. One of the connecting buses is one I know to be always early or very late. So if I miss it then I have a 30 minute wait for the next in the afternoon. Luckily in the morning more buses are running so that should be alright

Although I've been told we're going to be moving to a bigger office in a month so debating putting up with it or just driving into work for a month.

If it's were I think it will be that might actually be really nice as it would mean no bus transfers as it's on the same line as the bus that picks up outside my house. And they're a bit more dependable. With a bus every 15 minutes at night about about 5-10 in the morning

They seem super busy and most of the staff is brand new with two senior members. One who is about to leave on maternity leave. So, this will either be nice and working together or a nightmare

So far what little I've seen of the other team members they do seem like hard workers. One even apologised for not chatting with me much because she was so focused on work she hadn't realised I had arrived

Everyone's head were down working instead of one or two people while everyone else chatted.

So I'm hopeful that's a good sign. I like being busy at work so long as the load is shared.

Me too, also amusingly most are not Aussie born and raised. So there have been jokes about a new accent joining the office
