I have mixed feelings about them in a vacuum. In civil society I'm fine with them provided reasonable regulation as actually stated in the entire 2nd Amendment, not the "let's ignore the part we don't like and pretend that's legally justified even though it relies on an expressly unconstitutional argument" version.
public transit is immensely more cost-effective and more efficient for getting around the city, and frankly, even for getting out of the city to many destinations if you aren't trying to bring a lot of stuff with you... and things like that one carshare sub-day-rental company whose name I forget take up most of the slack for actual car needs
