One of two things would happen if someone thought Darin was cute

He’d either tilt his head, laugh, and think they were screwing with him

Or this would be the exact moment he’d be in the background trying to wrestle a Cthulhu beast screaming “I’ve got him on the ropes now!” While the top half of his body was just in the thing’s mouth

is this why he actively antagonizes the people he's interested in

not just to distance himself from others but because his brain short-circuits and does the dumbest thing possible
