They're basically JUST keeping their existing and franchise series

And then released some BS statement about how the rumors "mischaracterized" the events and it's all [insert some bland corporate line about future growth and profits that ignores the people they are laying off today and artists left in limbo of having their book deals pulled from under them]

they were one of the BIGGEST indie creator owned publishers and them effectively pulling out of that market has a big ripple effect

We're seeing more and more small and mid size publishers specifically pivot to IP farms
