I’m finally watching Stranger Things (I only ever saw s1 when it came out) and so of course I spoiled myself

It’s not the end of the world, I only just started S4 and got one big spoiler for it but that’s how it be

Also this season is making me lose my mind

I understand why but I]watching these 19-20 year olds play 14-16 year olds is amazing

Especially because every new “high school” upperclassman they added had to ofc look older, so the senior high schoolers look about 40

ALSO ERICA?

A fifteen year old playing an 11 year old is a good choice and I respect it even if it lends a semi Pen15 comedy quality to the proceedings

I am 100% able to suspend my disbelief and ofc the pandemic delayed their plans....I’m a little surprised they didn’t just add a couple years? So far nothing has happened that couldn’t have believably been, even say a 2 year time jump

But at least they are fully committed to their choice

Funnily, I think Will’s actor is the youngest among the main kids and he LOOKS THE OLDEST

But I think the adherence to the dated little boy hair cut is really adding to the “too old” appearance

do I think this is inspired? YES

Do I think it was a Good choice? ABSOLUTELY NOT
