I believe they progress the story even if you completely fail a stage, and the only requirement for daily missions is to clear the stages at all

I Hate the rhythm game part sometimes but them only making easy level stages a part of the story helps a lot

Yes! The pity system is so nice, compared to most I've played. They give free keys for the birthday banners all the time, and you have the option of keeping them until a specific banner comes along.

So it isn't a case of specific banners offering a free pull on them, like how most games do.

Also, they have a permanent banner and then they have event banners. Each pull on a banner adds a percentage to that banner, and once you reach 100%, you are guaranteed a card of top rarity

And like for the birthday banners, the only thing with top rarity is the birthday boy

So it feels like we are given so much more control over our odds than most games give
