So this kobold monk started life born as a runt and also born female. In his clan, runts are generally believed to be useless for how little they'll be able to contribute

So she decided "Fuck it! I'm gonna save up what I can and get the hell out of here."

Kobolds trade in teeth, so eventually she traded for enough teeth to get a lovely gold pocketwatch. She decided she would reinvent herself with this pocketwatch at the center of her new identity

The more draconic features were the result of stuff in the campaign he played in and I liked it so much, I decided to make it part of his backstory by default

he's a dapper lad, what a good name too, I like that he decided to combine fancy and badass into one profession Cecil is obviously a trailblazer

Cecil came from the idea of "what if a monk used their badassery to be a butler"

You know, to be one of those anime butlers who are basically ninjas and really good at everything

there's a butler from kekkai sensen who has his own battle rolls royce and I can see that as Cecil

He would have so much fun with his own battle car or something like that

He's already a monk, he can have his own cool gimmicks that would scream "BUY OUR TOYS" back in the 80s and 90s
