[RP] something I'd like to explore more with Loki is that while in the past he would've said he always has Asgard's best interests at heart (and has been trying to be more open to the idea that he could be going about things wrong), now he's not sure he'd always side with Asgard. depending on who its opponent is, what their grievances are, and what they plan

-he might decide that Asgard's enemies are in the right

that realization troubles him, because it goes against everything he's felt for most of his life, and he knows that the vast majority of Asgardians will take it as a sign that he was always treacherous

he's pretty sure Thor's non-Asgardian friends and his own would tell him that he'd be doing the right thing under those circumstances, but in the past when everything he's known for most of his life has been against him, he's been in the wrong. and he's not sure if his bitterness towards Asgard for rejecting him is clouding his judgment

it's the sort of question he'd want to bring up with Cap, but his Cap will never be in RP-land and any others he might find might not want to discuss morality with someone who shares most of a lifetime with the alien who invaded his home
