weirdly i think having the opportunity to play what would have been my own personal top pick for Shoka's monster for this temp event has been the last step in teaching me to fully embrace Shokelpie
like i'm still vibing with manticore but i'm also excited for her to change back...same with Lusamine actually but i always loved faerie for her. very sexy
she's always had a tikbalang-style in-between form but AGAIN i have never used it...at least partially because i don't think Shoka would willingly take that form very often (only to give people a momentary spook with her weird horse head if she's feeling mean)...
but if i give her a grosser version as a fog form i could make it happen...maybe just make it taller, more skeletal, maybe bioluminescent markings similar to Noise tattoos? also the "mane always ripples like it's underwater even when on land" thing seems like an opportunity i have missed...i might just go the whole hog whatever HORSE
thus ends my rambling INTERESTING to see that this is apparently a common experience....i feel kind of silly because this probably should have been obvious to me sklfj;h WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT that playing around with monsters in the monster game is fun
on another note just as an update while i'm here i will probably be doing tagouts for the Tanabata thing with Shoka today even though i probably should not start new things when my backlog is so big....but these TLs are all so juicy i don't want to miss out!! 😭 this is my constant hubris

for a game about transformation, i think it's extremely good that ryslig incentivizes & encourages temps, and makes them extremely cheap, because it gives you opportunity to play with more of the toys in the box
