Me: Instead of tagging I'll make the adult decision to go to bed so I can get 7 hours of sleep instead of the 5 I've been getting!

So sleepy

Started off cute with the cat not being ready for me to try to sleep so kept trying to get my attention

First by head butting my hand, then chewing on the curtain, then chewing on something in the room.

Then the nightly existential crisis decided to show up for it's nightly meeting despite my attempts to call ahead and cancel.

Unexpectedly was torn from bed when I thought I heard water leaking into the house. Which I was, but it wasn't from a burst pipe like I had feared.

I just hadn't noticed that it had started raining outside so the part of the house that drips that the landlord refuses to do anything about was dripping

But once I confirmed: yes, raining outside so this is known "bad noise" and not a: "new problem" bad noise I went back to bed.

Which was then: lay in bed while trying to come down from an anxiety hike time.

I should have just stayed up tagging lol

God, nightmarish.

Now this devilish cat is making it hard to get out of bed and go to work. She's so cuddly and soft
