I don't know how much this plurk will be used, but I want to let you know, this comm is going to be A Thing. hopefully an ongoing, upkept thing, but A Thing, either way.

I mean, like, proposed index pages, linked to by the Table of Contents page. I'm assuming the comm could be posted to with the char memes and whatnot, too. I'm thinking of things like the Char Survey of Doom, for convenience/safekeeping reasons. those "smaller" pages would be linked to from the category pages...?

those category subsection pages link to the resources themselves, be it other posts in the comm for memes and whatnot, or off-DW pages, like the IJ comm....
I love all of those, I think some might even be sub-trees to each other but we can get into the nitty gritty after we get a v1 done i think. I would also maybe include — there was this really neat tumblr to dwrp guide on how our whole shit works. maybe linking that, and/or having just a basic glossary on what terms are, how shit works, the norms?
another thing I've been thinking of that may or may not be feasible or appropriate for this or people may not even want, but — a plurk friending hub? we get a lot of new blood here that may not know people in DWRP and thus may not know that plurk is one of our main forms of social media?
so maybe some kind of new people plurk account where homies can jump in, add each other, maybe existing folks who are open to it can list their fandoms and be down for newbies to add them
I'm thinking at the least, adding some of the meme comms to one of the category-ish pages? Dear_Player, Bakerstreet... uhh... I'll admit, I'm not as familiar with rpanons, so I should go check them out...
I also have to admit I'm a little out of touch with the larger RP scene lately; I'm more of a PSLs-in-museboxes addict. but the char-info memes, the
worldbuilding help stuff, the browser extensions... all of that is still entirely applicable to my interests too, so I'm pretty excited to see what all else is out there now.
as for Plurk friending memes... yeah, why not? I don't know I'd have the presence of mind to post them on a regular basis or anything... but someone could post it in a comm on DW, too? or also? I have no idea what'd be most convenient for everyone involved....
rpanons has a lot of good aspects that I think are worth listing — the "rp with me" categories, icon maker posts, pb suggestions, rp advice, username suggestions, kinks you want to play, and it links out to a few resources itself
I love hitting it off with someone on plurk, though, and then we're both just like, "yes, this is the PSL we want to do" and then we go to DWRP, to post in a musebox and go at it... XD
(uhm... sorry if it's confusing, that I'm replying from both plurk accounts interchangeably. I have them up in different browser windows, is all, so as I swap between them, I'm not necessarily thinking about that detail....
I remember the days where when DW was down, it was "omg, DW, are you okay? do you need a hug? get-well-soon cards? can I fix you some chicken soup?" and when plurk went down, it was "freaking a, man, it's hitting the sauce again!!"
