[Stranger Things 4] Spoilers

all I wanted from this season was an Eleven and Hop reunion, and I got that

i am but a simple person

that said, the strongest Stranger Things season is the first one, everything after is just not as good.

and the level of S1 is just impossible to recover. Like, I feel bad for the kids who are being forced to experience puberty, the time in life when everyone is at their ugliest, on screen with 80's haircuts.

Killing that one guy who's just been introduced was very cheap. Like, I didn't know him well enough to care, it was very obviously a "we gotta kill someone and it's not gonna be Dustin"

near-fridging Max was also bad. I knew they wouldn't kill her but them even going there was just eye-roll predictable.

yeah season 1 is still my favorite

1, then 3 in the far distance for me.

I love Winona Ryder, I wish she'd gotten something more interesting than the Russia plot line
