hey friend, I've been there. this happened to me in 2016. I spent a year barely able to walk and having treatment fail before things started to turn around for me, but through a combination of treatments they did, and I really hope they do for you too.

I was able to stop walking with a cane in 2020 and while my back will never be normal again, there is so much I can do now that I thought I'd never be able to do again and took for granted before my injury.

Replurking since I'm broke and can't help much. But thinking of you. I went through something similar in 2015-2016 and had two surgeries (one on my neck with a fusion and the other was to fix a herniated disc in my back L5-S1).

I now walk with a cane due to chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia in addition to other back issues with my discs. Currently in SSDI limbo, but I'm making it. I hope the surgery helps and good luck!
