I mean, I will say this. The Umbrella Academy is cursed. The Sparrows for all their dysfunction? Managed to get everyone to live and also managed to get their father under control. It wasn't until the Umbrellas showed up that they started dying, that their father went back to his machinations, and that the end of the world started.
