I literally have no preexisting dad related headcanons, I realize, as I read all the other plurks about this.

Mom related headcanons, but damn. Nothing for Rosalind or Lucius.

His dad was an assistant game warden (or whatever it's called) at the estate and he never had much time for Lucius cuz he was always run off his feet and though he wanted Lucius to follow in his footsteps he always gently despaired at his faiting spells around blood or shit or relucantce to go in the wilds

and didn't really get him but was kind to him but then was gored to death in a boar hunt

way to cement the "no wilderness" in his little child head
