DryadGurrl
[vacation planning]
DryadGurrl
hotel now has dates open, parks do not, dad pointed out that that time of year (NYE weekend) hotels book up fast so I should do that as early as possible, I am just over 2/3 saved for everything, though it looks like the hotel will be a little more than I estimated for, which is fine! I have time to save for things like food
DryadGurrl
(which is a line item on my estimated budget)

so I think I'll book the hotel after next paycheck (week and a half) just so I know I have it. Park tickets currently available thru the first week of October, so I'll have to keep a closer eye on that than I have been (last time they were only thru the end of August)

and like, just thinking about it is giving me anxiety belly, but I've planned trips before! I know that will go away as each thing falls into place!

also pops suggested that I call one of the Disney booking agents so they can give me the info on the whole Lightning Lane and etc. to see if those are worth it for me as a singleton (when maaaany rides already have a single-rider queue) and what the additional cost for photo pass will be (since I won't have with me to take pictures OF me)

Reasonably sure I'll be starting my five-day on the Friday, which will mean I've got two days of work before I leave and two after I get back to settle back in, and I think I can handle that

BUT it also means I gotta put in my time off request, and I think I'll do that Thursday or Friday before I submit my timesheet, since I'll already be puttering around in there, and I've got the time racked up
