A couple has a baby

The baby is perfectly healthy and happy and the family is wholesome

but everyone who comes to visit them is kid of weird and standoffish about the baby

then later, openly hostile to the baby

with increasing levels of intensity as time goes on

until everyone around them is violently obsessed with killing the baby

none of them will explain why

or necessarily even know why

but a wider and wider radius of people are getting increasingly desperate and organized about killing the baby

the parents must find out what the fuck is going on while stopping a horde of ordinary people from murdering a baby
